Sizing & Fit

1. Using a measuring tape, exhale and measure around your ribcage, just beneath your bust. Make sure the tape is pulled snug, leveled and straight around your back.

2. Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Again, make sure the tape is leveled, not too tight, and straight around your back.

3. With your new measurements, use our handy chart to find your BaseLayer bra size.

We currently offer 2 different pad styles that can be added to your favourite BaseLayer bra. Both pads add to the versatility of our bras and can help you achieve multiple looks. Our Comfort Pad offers equal thickness all around for full coverage and support. Our Shape Pad adds thickness focused on the outer sides of the cups to enhance cleavage.

Product

All of our pieces can be machine washed in cold water and hung to dry or put in the dryer on tumble dry low. In addition, using a mesh garment bag will also help to avoid rubbing with other fabrics and clothing (i.e. denim and zippers) to extend the life of your bra or shorts.

Our bras and shorts are 75% Nylon and 25% Elastane.

BaseLayer is designed in Canada and manufactured in China.

At BaseLayer we're all about championing positive change. This is why we chose to manufacture in China despite the “made in china” stigma. We believe that by making conscious and mindful decisions through all aspects of our brand, we can change this.

We selectively source from Chinese factories that prioritize the process, quality and its workforce. With their advanced manufacturing processes, our factories are able to implement sustainable practices while maintaining quality more efficiently.

Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation with the details. If you do not see it, please make sure to check your junk mail too!

All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday) of being placed. Transit time depends on the destination, and shipping method chosen at checkout. Your tracking information is provided via email once your order has been shipped.

In order to ensure that you get your goods, our order processing starts almost immediately (during business hours) once you have submitted your order. An order cannot be cancelled or changed 24 hours after the order was placed.

We accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Amex) via our secure online checkout. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay (previously Shopify Pay).

By default, all transactions are charged in CAN. Prices can be displayed in USD if the currency toggle in the navigation bar or footer is selected.

To redeem your promo code, please enter the code on the checkout page (after entering shipping/billing information) and click "apply". Note that promo codes cannot be combined and only one may be used at a time.

Oh no! Here are a few reasons why your code might not be working:

1. Your subtotal (before tax and/or shipping charges) does not meet the minimum threshold to use the code.

2. The code is no longer valid.

3. The code may be one-time use only, and therefore cannot be used again if you have already used it in a previous order.

Our e-gift cards come in increments of $50 or $100 and are delivered by email immediately after purchase. Each digital card contains a unique code that can be redeemed at checkout. Please note that all e-gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.

Shipping

We currently ship within North America (Canada & USA).

We ship through Canada Post. Shipping times can vary from 3 to 7 business days depending on your location. We also offer next day delivery within the Greater Vancouver Area at no additional cost.

At BaseLayer, we know when to dress it up or dress it down. Because of this, we’ve decided to package orders in a simple and eco-friendly compostable mailer so you can look good and feel good.

Returns & Exchanges

We know bras are a personal thing, that’s why we’re happy to offer easy returns and exchanges.*

*Items must be unworn with the tags attached and in their original condition in order to qualify for a return or exchange within 2 weeks of the arrival of your order. Returns will be made for the amount paid minus the cost of shipping.
